Cooperation projects
The Swiss Embassy in Argentina has announced that there will be no call for projects in 2026.
Description
One of Switzerland’s primary objectives, as set out in the Federal Constitution, is its commitment to promoting sustainable development and fostering a peaceful and just world order. Furthermore, through its foreign policy, Switzerland is committed to promoting peace, freedom, security, justice and human well-being, whilst taking into account the interests of future generations. From this perspective, Switzerland’s main concern in the field of development cooperation is to improve the living conditions and quality of life of the most vulnerable populations.
Priorities and selection criteria
Every year, the Swiss Embassy in Argentina provides financial support for cooperation projects throughout the Argentine Republic. Priority will be given to projects addressing the following themes: environmental protection: rational use of natural resources, energy and renewable energy, and the circular economy; economic empowerment of vulnerable populations: sustainable productive projects; education and integration projects for children and young people in precarious situations; promotion of human rights and minority rights.
